I think he just wanted to see how people responded to this one before he fully engaged his brain on the third one," Blunt explained. "He has a whole arc of ideas that could work. Just a few days later, Krasinski's on-screen and real-life wife Emily Blunt confirmed in another Collider interview that her husband has "a couple of great ideas" for a third movie. Paramount Pictures released the film in theaters on May 28, 2021 after a year's worth of delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic. "I think when my brain started wandering questions of what would this mean later on, I started to write down notes in case I could prepare myself for a third one," Krasinski told Collider in May 2021. A Quiet Place Part II had its world premiere at the Lincoln Center in New York City on March 8, 2020. He repeatedly showcases his enviable skill sets, maintaining the family compound and wiring up a command center in the basement. That movie is evidently at the forefront of "A Quiet Place" and "A Quiet Place Part 2" actor and director John Krasinski, who has apparently been thinking quite a bit about the next installment. John Krasinski, aka Lee Abbott, knows two things in this movie: being an electrician and keeping his family safe. See if any of these questions get answers when A Quiet Place 2 hits theaters on March 20.While it was announced back in November 2020 that a "Quiet Place" spin-off film is in the works at studio Paramount Pictures with Jeff Nicholas writing and directing (via the Hollywood Reporter), that's a different project than a third "Quiet Place" movie. John Krasinski set up a very exciting world in A Quiet Place, and we're even more thrilled to see his expanded vision of it in A Quiet Place 2. The Abbotts could also use the information to build a high frequency sound producing gate around their farm. The new information might make it easier for the Abbotts to figure out a better living system, like Marcus' new knowledge that the monsters cannot hear people over water could lead to the Abbott family trying to live somewhere near a waterfall. Now the Abbotts know a lot more about the monsters, because of Lee's control room clues and because of their own knowledge on how to kill them. In the first A Quiet Place, Lee keeps the rest of the Abbott family in the dark about the details and questions he had about the monsters. We're not sure if they are just on a family supply run, or if they are looking for a new place to stay. In A Quiet Place 2 teaser, the Abbotts are on the road. If sending letters is still a thing in the world of A Quiet Place, then Evelyn can even get what's left of the government and military involved in launching a massive attack on the monsters. Everyone just needs a portable microphone, a defective hearing aid, and some sort of firearm to kill these monsters. Now that the family has discovered the key to killing them, it seems like they’ll be an easy enemy to eliminate. Since A Quiet Place 2 teaser shows Marcus, Evelyn, Regan, and the new baby traveling, it’s pretty clear that they used the same technique to kill the rest of the monsters heading towards their farm. Evelyn smiles at Regan and cocks her gun. After killing the first one, the Abbotts hear and see more monsters heading towards their farm. Evelyn then shot the creature with a shotgun. Regan used her defective hearing aid to cause so much pain for the monster that it lowered its armor shell, which made the monster vulnerable to attacks. ![]() ![]() The final moments of A Quiet Place revealed that the monsters can be defeated with high frequency sounds. ![]() Will A Quiet Place’s Monsters Now Be Easy To Defeat?
